Psalm 107;a psalm for the church. The recurring theme in this psalm suits God to a "T"and the first instance is found in verse1 appropriately. Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever; that is from the NKJV. Reading from the NRSV it says "for His steadfast love endures forever"
Steadfast means; fixed in direction, steadily directed,unwavering, firmly established. That kind of love has to be the God kind of love...it does not come from the natural man. We love our own family or our friends a little bit like that but sometimes even then we don't love like we should. The Bible says that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. We certainly did not deserve this love; you cannot earn it, but you can depend on this one thing when all around you is chaos and trouble..."His steadfast love endures forever."

God,s steadfast Love weather we deserve it or not we get it in so many different ways from Him parting the Red Sea to healing a loved ones back to showing someone that she is loved at a birthday party......God never stops showing his love for us...his love does endure forever...... why can't ours ?

I don't think that we can ever
imagine now great God's love is for us.
He lived His life knowing that one day He would go to the cross for us,and many would not accept or thank Him.
