Grace is power

Grace empowers us as well….it just doesn’t forgive us but it empowers us also…….Ro.12 again says in vs 2,”And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” He goes on to say “For I say through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.” This also is grace.
Martin Luther once said, “Faith is a living, daring confidence in God’s grace, so sure and certain that the believer would stake his life on it a thousand times. This knowledge of and confidence in God’s grace makes men glad and bold and happy in dealing with God and with all creatures.” Isn’t that powerful?

We are saved by grace and we are filled with the Spirit by His grace and we are led by His Spirit to pray because of grace….Ro.8:16-17, “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our sprit that we are children of God, and if children then heirs…..heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ.” How can we fathom the depths of His grace? It’s an impossibility. We can all quote that verse in Eph.2:8&9 “For by grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” We need to remind the enemy of those verses every time he skulks around. “Not by works of righteousness which we have done but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit.” Titus 3:5. It’s all because of His mercy and His grace.

It reminded me of this song....Grace, Grace, God's Grace, Grace that will pardon and cleanse within. Grace, Grace, God's Grace, Grace that is greater than all our sin.......its just so hard to even fathom His marvelous grace. Blessings!
