This post is my second attempt after the original one in which I stated the purpose of my blog. In the first try I actually put my thoughts in the comment section rather than a post. Since I am the owner of the blog it should have been a post not a comment. Comments are for you to respond.
So it is my desire to talk a little about grace....in particular God's grace. And I will entitle what I hope to be a Bible Study....."what do I know about grace?" And I welcome your comments and if there should be any negative and I mean really negative such as abusive material then I reserve the right to edit it. Fair enough? What do I know about grace
R.C.
What do I know about grace ? Or despisest thou the riches of His goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? Ro.2:4. David the Psalmist that sweet singer of Israel said in psalm 32” Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.” The Living Bible tells it this way, ”What happiness for those whose guilt has been forgiven! What joys when sins are covered over! What relief for those who have confessed their sins and God has cleared their record.” I love that paraphrase ….God has cleared their record!
What joy! What relief! This is the grace of God that the psalmist is referring to.

(Reading again from the Living Bible)vs.3 goes on to say,”There was a time when I wouldn’t admit what a sinner I was. But my dishonesty made me miserable and filled my days with frustration. Vs4…All day and all night Your hand was heavy upon me. My strength evaporated like water on a sunny day. Vs5…until I finally admitted all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide them. I said to myself,”I will confess them to the Lord,” and You forgave me! All my guilt is gone.(hallelujah!)vs.6… Now I say that each believer should confess his sins to God, when he is aware of them, while there is time to be forgiven. Judgement will not touch him if he does. ”What a beautiful truth. A picture of God’s marvelous grace. His unmerited favor!!!
